Closing
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of TRUTH." 2 Timothy 2:15
Read;Matt 5:33-37
33 "Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."
I want to talk about cliche's that hinder us. What is a Cliche', a trite expression or action? An example would be; "If you play with fire you'll get burnt". We all do it. We speak curses upon ourselves by speaking cliche's. There are curses or cliche's that we get from our family line. Let us go through some of these areas to open up our mind.
We need to know about the things we say. There is not much said about cliche's. We speak curses of cliche's on ourselves to cause our memory to go bad. There are things we say that can bring depression upon us or despair. There are things that we say that can bring financial poverty upon us. There are things that will bring physical infirmities upon us. There are things that will bring weight problems and disorders upon us. There are things we say that will bring death, injuries or accidents upon us. There are things that will even bring rebellion, which opens the door to witchcraft.
Jesus said to let our communication be "Yea be yea" and
your "nay be
nay". The book of James speaks a lot about our unruly mouth.
26 "If any man among you seem to be religious, and
bridleth not his
tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." Here
is a man that cannot bridle his tongue.
3:1 "My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body."
None of us are perfect. We offend others by our words. We get an attitude. We go in with an attitude and we leave with an attitude. It says, "If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man," The word "perfect" means mature. It is good to hold our mouth sometimes, even though we would like to open it.
This same man is "...able to bridle the whole body." You can control everything if you can control your tongue.
The key to our Christian walk is how to control the
tongue. If we
can
control the tongue we can control everything else. Is this what he is
saying? It is exactly what he is saying.
3 "Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listed.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is
the tongue among
our members (first, he said it hurts us and now he is saying that it
hurts others), that it defileth the whole body..." James is talking
about
body ministry - we are being built up with Jesus as the Head of his
body but we have people saying things about the body they should not be
saying. If we say something about someone who is in the body that is
not true it will come back on us. Wonder why we have problems in the
body? What are we saying about other members?
2 "As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come." [If there is no cause for it to hit you then the curse will bounce off you and go back to those who spoke it. If we open up doors up through cliche's to ourselves it hits us and does damage.]
"...And setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. (Who puts it in your mind? Devils put it in your mind to say things.)
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."
You cannot tame the tongue. It takes something higher to
tame the
tongue.
9 "Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be."
What was Jesus' example? Did He say to curse people?
No! He said to
bless them. "Bless them who persecute you." "Bless them who revile
you." Here we find that if we start blessing our brothers and sisters,
the blessing may bounce off them, but will come back and bless you.
10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."
Blessings will come on you when you bless those that persecute you. Blessed are you when men say all manner of evil against you and you do not say anything against them. Jesus is our example. Did they not curse Him? They accused Jesus of everything. They lied and accused Him. Did He open His mouth? No. He kept His mouth shut as "a lamb going to slaughter." Bless and curse not!
We have been taught a lot - some good, some bad. To
become free of the
bondages of cliche's we need to break them. We need to command the
spirits behind the cliche's to come out in the Name of Jesus. Then we
need to take authority over our mind and over our tongue and let the
Holy Spirit
rule them.
13 "Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil,
to cut off the
remembrance of them from the earth."
3 "He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he
that openeth wide
his lips shall have destruction." The expression: "get the foot out of
your mouth". Sometimes we put it in. This is a cliche'.
23 "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles."
The devil enters into the soul. The devil opens up the
soul man and he
loves company and invites other spirits in. They love to party.
10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let
him refrain his
tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:"
Do you have trouble with your memory? Some people have trouble with their memory. Some people have learning difficulties.
A. Cliche's of the Mind
"You're running around like a chicken with your head cut off."
"Have you lost your marbles?" There goes your mind. When I was in school that was the thing to say.
"Are you spaced out?"
"Hello, are you there?"
"You act like you are out to lunch."
"You are as dumb as dumb can be."
"You will never learn."
"You're an idiot."
"You're a dummy."
"You dumb thing."
"You're stupid."
"The body is going to grow but the mind is not."
"I can't remember anything."
"I can't learn this."
"She'll never make it."
Here are things we say and that are said to us.
"It is more than I can bare."
"You kids are driving me crazy."
"You kids are driving me bananas."
"You're driving me to drink."
I know one woman who was pulling her hair and saying, "I can't stand it anymore."
"I can't put up with it any more."
"Are you half baked?"
"Are you a basket case?"
"Are you scattered brain?"
Do we say these things to others or have them said to us? Sure we have.
This is one a person would say...."So it finally sunk in that deep skull of yours." He was calling me an idiot.
These are things that cause mind problems.
B. Cliche's that cause depression in your life."It's the beginning of the end."
"When it rains, it pours."
"So far so good." What are you looking for? The worst.
"Where there is smoke there is fire."
"Going from the frying pan to the fire."
"Blue Monday."
"I hate Mondays."
"The worst always happens to me."
These cliche's bring in depression, despair. You are expecting it to happen. "Murphy's law."
"If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all."
"Woe, is me."
These are true things that are being said. Our parents probably said a lot of these things to us. They did not know what they were doing.
C. Cliche's that bring in financial poverty."I am poor as a church mouse."
"Half a loaf is better than none at all."
A lot of kids say, "I want and I am going to get it." They spend all their money on it and come to Mom and Dad wanting gas money.
"We have to keep up with the Jones."
"You only go around once in life."
"A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush."
"A little is better than none at all."
"Why is everything going out and nothing is coming in?"
"You can't get blood out of a turnip."
"That is a scarce as hen's teeth."
"If you pinch your pennies and squeeze your dollars..."
"I am dead broke." This puts to curse of death and poverty on you.
"Times are tough." As Christians, times are not tough. When we begin to learn the things of God and put His principles into place, God begins
to bless His people and through the tough times He will help us walk through it. It is not tough for Christians. We must profess the Word of God. The scripture says, "His seed shall not be out begging for bread." We remind the Lord that of the tithe and offerings we give unto Him thank Him for those things He gives us.
Luke 6:38-39
38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
We were in the wilderness but now we are in the Promise Land and can receive the promises of God. It is time we pronounce these things.
Some people say, "I'm never going to get ahead."
"I'm getting snowed under here."
"Let's get it while it's hot."
"I'm barely making it."
"It is better to have it and not need it than to not have it and need."
"Oh, God will never bless me." If you think it and say it, you will never be blessed.
If you have ever come out of the Catholic Church, you take a vow of poverty. You put a curse on yourself and you wonder why you never make it. There are more poor Catholics than there are rich ones.
These are just a few things that open us up to financial burdens.
Mom and Dad, not knowing, passed a lot of these things down to you. We must watch what we say. The thought will come and you will speak instantly then you think what did I say that for. It just flows right off your tongue.
D. Cliche's that bring physical infirmities. When you get diarrhea, there is a saying, "I'm as loose as a goose."
"I'm chilled to the bone."
"I'm going to freeze to death."
"Don't go out with a wet head. You're going to catch a cold."
"The flu bug is out. You're going to get it." You just say, "No, I'm not. I am a child of the Living God and I am not receiving any of that stuff because that is from Egypt (flesh) and I came out of Egypt (flesh)."
"I'm so tired my tongue is hanging out."
"I'm so tired, I'm just wore out."
"I'm so tired, I'm just run down."
"I'm so tired, I am rung ragged."
"I'm sick and tired of..."
"You look like you have seen a ghost."
"You are as pale as can be."
"You look white as a sheet."
"You are a sight for sore eyes."
"You look sick."
"Are you living on borrowed time."?
"You know it is that time of the year when I catch..."
E. Cliche's that cause weight disorders. You see signs at restaurants that say "All you can eat." The sign should say, "All you care to eat." That one little word "care" would change everything when we go into these restaurants.
In school, kids would pick on larger kids and call them "porky", "fat as a pig". These are cliche's that have been said in school. It creates a lot of problems. It causes depression.
"I can't believe I ate the whole thing."
"It's that time of my life," (Menopause) No, God can change it so women do not have to suffer through it. God can change metabolism. But you have to believe God can do it. We get what we say.
Here is one that brings death in... "I'm going to loose weight even if I starve to death."
"I'm always hungry."
"I'm always eating."
F. Cliche's that open doors to death."Cross my heart and hope to die."
"I going to do it or die doing it."
"I'll die before I do that."
"I'm so lonesome I could die."
"I'm so sick I could die."
"I feel like I want to die."
"I would rather be dead than wrong."
"I wish I was dead."
"Just drop dead."
"I'm going to work till I drop."
"Dog eat dog."
"You're dead wrong."
"Over my dead body."
"You're tickling me to death."
"I nearly laughed my head off."
"I'm tickled pink."
"I laughed until I thought I was going to die."
"You look like death warmed over."
"You look like the walking dead."
"Man, I'm freezing to death."
"I nearly froze to death."
"I'm burning up."
"I'm going to kill them with kindness."
"This is going to be the death of me."
"I'm itching to death."
"You're driving me to an early grave."
G. Cliche's that can cause accidents and injuries."That kid is always hurting himself."
"That kid has a black shadow falling him wherever he goes."
"Watch out! You're going to break something."
"Watch that step, you're going to break your neck."
"You're going to have an accident if you do this."
"You're careless."
"You're just accident prone."
"You're clumsy."
H. Cliche's that open up to rebellion."You are so hard headed."
"Boy, are you set in your ways."
"He is as stubborn as a mule."
"He is as stubborn as a old hog on ice."
"If I don't have anything else, I still have my pride."
"I've got my pride."
"That person has a streak of meanness."
All rebellion opens us up to witchcraft.
1 Sam 15:23
23 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."
If we reject the Word of God then He will reject us from being kings.
Rebellion leads to witchcraft. If you have been in rebellion in your past you will find you are drawn to witchcraft.
I. Cliche's that are witchcraft."Rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief, doctor, lawyer, merchant,"
"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might have the wish I wish tonight."
What about the wishbone in the turkey or chicken? You let it dry to break it. Who ever got the biggest piece after it was pulled apart would get their wish.
"I'm going to put that horseshoe over the door for good luck."
Carrying a rabbit's foot around for good luck.
"Lady luck is with me tonight."
"Old man luck."
"Lucky me."
Luck has nothing to do with things. We are blessed because we have Jesus.
I was in a restaurant and heard this young man say he won $150,000 at one of the gambling casinos. He was buying breakfast for his friends. If you get money easy then it is easy to let it go through your hands.
Hypnosis, backward counting, forward counting, counting sheep.
"I hope to God..."
"Don't walk under that ladder."
"It's bad luck to open that umbrella in the house."
"Don't go in front of that black cat."
"Don't step on a crack, break your mother's back."
"Step on a line, break your father's spine."
"Seven years bad luck for breaking that mirror."
Throw the salt (not the shaker) over your shoulder.
Tossing coins into the wishing well.
J. Cliche's that bring marriage curses."I'm my old man's dog."
"You're the young man's slave."
"You're my trophy."
"He's an old bag of wind."
"That's my old man or old lady."
"Does the cat have your tongue."? Causes blocked communication.
"Birds of a feather flock together."
"Like attracts like."
"What you see is what you get."
"I'm too old to change."
"You're a sight for sore eyes."
"What you don't know won't hurt you."
"The end justifies the means." Stealing, cheating.
"How come everything bad always happen at once to me."
"When one thing goes bad everything goes bad."
"You're never going to amount to anything. You're not worthy."
"I'm not worthy." I hear this so much among Christians. Stop saying it! Jesus made us worthy. If you're saying this, the devil has deceived you. His deception has opened you up to take another road.
"Misery loves company."
"I can't resist another donut."
"How come I am always late."?
"Better late than never."
"I'm never on time."
"It takes one to know one."
"If you go out and lay with a pig, you're going to get his grunt."
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
"That is impossible." Nothing is impossible with God. "All things are possible for him who believe. We have to believe that Jesus can set you free from these things.
"How come I am always with losers."
"Finder keepers, losers weepers."
"Every dog is going to have his day."
"Every body makes mistakes."
"Nobody is perfect." This is true, there is only One perfect man and that is Jesus but He is bringing us into perfection.
"I make my fair share of mistakes."
"Everything is going to pot."
"Nothing is going right."
"Go out into the garden and eat worms."
"I'd sell my soul to the devil for this."
"I'm a born loser." I had a T-shirt with that on it. I threw it away and broke the curse in Jesus' name.
"Once a loser always a loser."
"Boy, are they like a snake in the grass; or like a thief in the night."
"If you have little children, you have little problems but if you have big children you have big problems."
"When they get past thirteen, look out!"
"Little children have big ears."
"If the Lord is willing and the creek don't rise I'll be there."
"Man, this is not my day!"
"I'm frustrated beyond measure."
"He is a chip off the old man's block."
"Like father like son."
Have you taken marriage vows and said, "For better, or worse, richer, poorer, in sickness and in health"? You are putting curses on yourself. I do not have the bride and groom say these things. I only speak blessings on the marriage. If you say "for better or worse" than it will always end up in the negative because people will always look at the negative. "For richer or poorer", it will always be for poorer - "Woe is me". "How come we never have enough."? "In sickness or health", people look for sickness. If we are the children of the Living God, we have come out of Egypt and sickness cannot inhabit our temples. We must pronounce blessings on a marriage.
These are just a few cliche's that we speak. They have been detrimental and affected our lives.
Know that we have our eyes opened to cliche's be aware
of what you say
and refrain from cliche's as much as possible. We need to get free from
the affects cliche's. We need to speak blessings and positive words to
people. "Bless them!" If you want blessings to come to you start
blessing people and let it come back to you. If it misses them it will
come back to you.
Let's command lost memory spirits out and learning difficulties out. Let's rid ourselves of these spirits that came in through cliche's. Let us confess we will speak cliche's that hinder. Say to your children, "You can do It, God has blessed you with a good mind and you can do whatever you want to do. Don't let anyone else tell you differently." Never curse your children. You know why? Because you may have had negative things said to you. Your mother and father spoke cliche's to you. Always encouraged you children with words that will cause their growth in Jesus.
We need to break the power of cliche's, because as children words were spoken that affected us. We picked them up and speak them on ourselves and others. We are cursing others with our words. Most of the time we do not realize what we are saying. It just flows from our mouth.
Let us get rid of the memory spirits, learning
difficulties spirits,
and mind spirits. The Greek word for spirit is "numa" which we get our
word "pneumatic" from. Now when you command the spirit out take a deep
breath and let it out.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come boldly to the throne of Grace. We thank you, Jesus, that you became a curse for us and broke those curses. We come today to break cliche' curses that have hindered us. We brake them off of us, right now. Lord, we desire for you to set us free in the areas that we have written about. If there are others, we ask that you bring them to remembrance and will call them out for what they are and be free from devils behind cliche's, in the Name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for putting a watch around everyone's home and protecting them. Thank you for filling my temple (soul) Jesus.
We come against all mind spirits, all memory spirits, all learning difficulty spirits that have come in through cliche's. In the Name of Jesus, we command all devils to loose their hold and come out of these temples now. As we loose you from your assignments in Jesus' name.
All blocked memory, all forgetfulness, lapse memory, all temporary amnesia, all wandering mind spirits, lack of concentration, go in the Name of Jesus. We loose the mind of Christ within us. We put on the mind of Christ. We thank you Jesus that we have a good mind. Fill up our mind with your thoughts, will and purposes. Help us to watch over our tongue concerning our minds.
Where we have spoken words that cause depression or despair, we speak to those spirits that have brought in "bad luck".
We speak to all spirits of depression, all spirits of despair that have come in through cliche's and command you to come out in the Name of Jesus. We cast you out by the Finger of God. You have been found out and we command you to go in Jesus' Name. All blue Monday spirits go. All bad luck spirits go. We have the blessings of God! Those spirits that are looking for the worst, we command you to go, in Jesus' Name. We loose all of you from your assignment against me.
Fill us up, Lord. Give us hope. Give us Life, Lord. Your Life is invested in us. We speak the Life of Jesus in us. We thank You for Life, in Jesus' Name.
We command all financial distress spirits, all poverty spirits, all lack spirits, to come out in Jesus' Name and loose your hold. All "can barely make it" spirits come out. All "can't afford it" spirits, all "times are tough" spirits come out in the Name of Jesus. We cast you out in Jesus' Name.
Father, we ask you to fill us up, that we have more than enough. As we have given, it will be given back to us in good measure, pressed down and shaken together, so we have more than enough to give and help others, in the Name of Jesus. I ask Father, that you bless us, prosper us in all our ways even as our soul prospers. Fill us up, Lord. Let Your Word push out anything that is not of You, in Jesus' Name.
We come against all physical and infirmity spirits and all death spirits in Jesus' Name. We speak to all physical, infirmity and death spirits and all their cohorts, now in Jesus Name. We command you to come out of our temples by the Blood of the Lamb. You have been found out and we command you to come out, now, in Jesus' Name. All death wish spirits come out, all spirits of infirmity come out, and all sick and tired spirits come out in Jesus' Name. All fatigue spirits, all "run ragged" spirits, all worn out spirits come out in Jesus' Name.
All remaining cliche' spirits, we cast out and command you to go in the Name of Jesus. We ask that you to fill us up Lord with Life and that more abundantly according to Your Word. The scripture says, "Satan comes to steal, to kill and destroy." But Lord, You have come to give us Life and Life more abundantly. Loose the Abundant Life into us, in Jesus' Name. Lord, you said that the diseases of Egypt would not be given to us. We ask you to forgive us of our sins that opened the doors through these cliche's so we may live a prosperous life in our soul man, our flesh man and we will be healthy all the days of our lives. We command that no infirmities shall enter against our dwelling place, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
All accident or injury spirits and all accident- prone spirits we cast out in the Name of Jesus. All "break an arm, leg or neck" spirits come out. We loose you from your assignments. All cliche' spirits go in the Name of Jesus. We know sin of words spoken caused these to enter and we ask your forgiveness and cast these spirits out in Jesus' Name.
I thank You, Jesus for the health you have give to us. Thank you, according to your Word, Deuteronomy 28:1-14; that all these blessings will come upon us and over take us, in Jesus' Name. We give you praise and thanksgiving for your blessings.
We command all rebellion and witchcraft spirits that came in through cliche's to come out now. All hard headed spirits, all rebellion spirits, all cliche' spirits, I command you to come out in the Name of Jesus. All stubborn spirits, "stubborn as a mule" spirits come out. That "streak of meanness" spirit come out in the Name of Jesus. All witchcraft spirits come out in Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for your Word, as it is written "rebellion is as witchcraft and stubbornness is as idolatry". We recognize this area and thank you for our deliverance in Jesus' Name. We realize, Lord, by doing these things we have rejected your Word and rejected Truth and ask for forgiveness to be set free from these spirits, in Jesus' Name. We loose Truth from your Word, in Jesus' Name.
Jesus, where we spoke bondages in our marriages contrary to your Word, we ask forgiveness. We command all marriage blocking spirits to go, all marriage defilement spirits to go in Jesus' Name. We speak love and truth into our marriage and speak life into our mates, in Jesus' Name. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for the mate you have given us and thank you for putting us together. We are one and no man can pull us asunder, according to Your Word. Thank you, Jesus! We break the curse of vows we spoke, in the Name of Jesus. We shall always be better in our marriages. We will never be poor but always rich in your Word, the Spirit, and in the natural, in Jesus' Name. We will never be in sickness but always be in good health all the days of our lives. We proclaim these things over our mates and over ourselves, in the Name of Jesus Christ. We will speak the truth over our mates and the best in our lives. We will be rich in you in good health and no sickness will come "nigh our dwelling place", in the Name of Jesus.
We are worthy because of your blood. You have made us right and we are in right standing with the Father. We are worthy and we will never confess any more that we are not worthy. Any vows taken in Catholism, vows of poverty, we break them in the Name of Jesus Christ and loose those demons from their assignments now in Jesus' Name. Any vows that were taken from any ungodly organizations - Elks, Moose, Fraternal order of Eagles, Freemasonry, Rebecca Lodge, we break now, in the Name of Jesus. We loose those spirits from us so we can be free to worship you; that we can be free to enter into the Holy of Holies, in Jesus' Name.
"Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed." Thank You, Jesus you have set us free. We ask that you seal us with the Holy Spirit of promise. We ask that you fill up every area that we have been set free and fill us more and more with the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name. We give you praise and thanksgiving, Lord Jesus.
Whatever is left, Lord Jesus, let the fire of God purge out. Put a guard over our mouth and over our ears to keep out any ungodly thing. Lord Jesus, help us to stay clean and pure. Thank you now to teach us to learn to control our tongue.
This is the hour we will be accountable for the words that come from our mouth. Watch us today. We ask the Holy Spirit to help us to keep from speaking anything that is ungodly. We remove any gatekeepers not from you, in the Name of Jesus, and assign the Holy Spirit to be our gatekeeper over our mouth and tongue. We ask for the Holy Spirit to quicken our mind so we will not say anything contrary to your Word and will, in the Name in Jesus. Amen.
End of Prayer.
29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying (build up), that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."
We are to watch our mouths. The Lord is warning us to guard over the words we speak and the conversations we have. We must learn how to bless people and not curse them. Even those that curse us, we are to bless them. Bless them, Lord, to know Your ways for Your ways are higher than their ways.
We are overcomers!
23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the
left: remove thy foot from
evil."
35 "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be
justified, and by thy words thou
shalt be condemned."
18 But those things, which proceed out of the mouth, come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a
man: but to eat with unwashen
hands defileth not a man."
14 "Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;"
We must not murmur or complain.
6 "Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer."
If you start murmuring, the destroyer has
a legal right to come in and
destroy you. We have all been there. We have all murmured.
11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."
We our to guard ourselves and our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus so we do not cause one another to fall.
As you have been introduced to what
cliche's will cause. Remember these
are only a partial list of cliche's we speak daily. Be careful to watch
over your words. Break the power immediately, in the name of Jesus,
those things you may say to yourself or over others. Be a blessing to
yourself and others by only speaking those words that would build up or
edify. Remember the devil comes to steal, kill, or destroy. Give the
devil no place in your life or others. We will give account for every
idle word we speak when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ
Jesus. Be on guard!
